Sabrocks69 New Member Australia 42 Posts	Posted 09/29/2022 4:40 pm Hi, I'm trying to evaluate some bits of my collection. I have 3 X $5 NOTES 1992 last prefix AB But the text is in green ink? Would this make a difference to the value of the trio or would they be valued the same as black ink notes? Could it possibly decrease the value? Or maybe raise the value? And green serial numbers on polymer notes are, almost always, the result of chemical reactions after getting laundered in enzyme-based detergents, and not a printing error or specially-printed-with-green-ink note. Dealers here in Australia get asked about them all the time. Your notes don't look laundered, and aren't random circulation finds if they're still consecutive numbers. So I'm happy to hear an alternative explanation from the locals. Perhaps they've been left exposed to the sun for several years?
