Hi. I have 2 $100 dollar bills. One of them has a small round blue stamp with a number in the center. The stamp is located in the lower right corner of the reverse. The other bill has a small round red stamp which may be initials, hard to make out, in the lower left corner of the reverse. Can anyone tell me what these stamps were for? Thank you.

A modern "chop mark" of some sort, possibly intended to verify authenticity.

Both are stamps applied after these were issued - considered damage.
