I don't know if the carbon spots would give it a Details grade. There are very heavy polishing lines on both sides in the fields.

Odd how it looks discolored where the feather should be. Probably just my eyes.

Killer example. Discolored area where the 3rd was is likely a shadow from lighting on the overpolished area. Die Deterioration is VERY evident on the back of the neck and throat area, and heavily over polished. Obverse spots detract a bit in my book but I'll say a AU58, Net AU53 for surfaces.

I'll take it off your hands at the right price

Beautiful example of a high-grade coin struck with ugly dies! There is a plethora of die flow lines and areas of extreme deterioration.
Suffering from bust half fever.

a little too much glare for me to see the surfaces. strong reverse. if you twisted my arm i'd have to say MS and 65 is possible but the the spotting and reverse discoloration may hold it back a tad

I think it'll straight grade solid 64 with a shot at 65 on a Friday afternoon.

I took a couple more shots with reduced glare. There is some rub on the 2 high points of the hip, so Ty2020b's assessment is probably the closest.

the glare in the original photos was hiding the minor wear on the coin.
