I need some advice on these cents on whether the doubling I see is DD or MD? The doubling I see is on the Obverse date (on the 1 and 9) and on Liberty ( T & Y w/possible minor on B,E,R). I have a 2nd 1956 D I was going to use as comparison but noticed doubling on the date (1) and on Liberty also (numerous spots as noted). Since they are similar, I've include phots of them also.
I'm still new to coin collecting and appreciate your help!!!
@ed, I've fixed that typo in your title. Next time just click on the "report this post to the staff" link. Also, it isn't a big deal this time, but moving forward please post only one coin per thread. Thx!

Coin # 2 is showing some die damage (aging) and circulation flattening. No DDO on that area. Die chip on the '1' on the date. Just an aging die example.
