What are the chances of having a 1990 but in a Denver mint with the same exact doubling on the reverse, on United States and on the top/inside of the letter O of ONE. When I seen SwampFox_313's picture it looked just like mine except I have a Denver mint. Would Machine Doubling occur twice in the same part of the coin as a dd would? I will try to post a picture tomorrow because conditions are not favorable to get a clear enough picture. But if it's possible for the same exact Machine Doubling to occur in the reverse of both a Philadelphia and Denver mint let me know before I upload a picture.

Thanks

@mrc, first welcome to CCF. Second, best practice is to start a new thread for each new coin so I have split off your reply to a new thread. Folks can see the original thread here:

If found in an original roll, they could be sets from the same die pair. In the wild, chances are slim. But if you were looking at a die event, sometimes they will after a die event (Die crack/chip/break) they will remain on the die to strike hundreds of thousands more until the die is retired. (And continue aging as the die gets more die events)

Machine Doubling is fairly common, so yes, it wouldn't be unusual for more than one coin showing the same issue.
