Hello CCF got back to town and I was coin roll hunting and found this 1979 Lincolnl cent I am not sure what type of error this coin could be went to error-ref and couldn't find anything like it

Don't see anything other than a stain. Maybe spent some time in a car cup holder with another coin.

Interesting. Is that curvilinear feature raised, sunken (incuse), or both?

I agree with cujohn, when a coin is on top of another then maybe soda,coffee, ect... spills on them an illusion of a ring is created.

Ok here we go again, all of you guys only see a staining coin,( not you ijn1944) this is what a see below liberty the curve line is raised not a stain then stared to fade away, on top of liberty some kind of "3 steps" ,and on the date between the 7 and 9 some circular marks ( not a stain also)

If it's not a stain, it's a chemical reaction to cause the discolouration.
