So I know their is a 1918/7 D Buffalo nickel but
Is their a 1918/7 S Buffalo nickel? Probably a dumb question but I'm still learning ty in advance

I wonder about the excess metal below the 8 - someone may have been trying to make something. It's always possible to find something new but an 8/7 that obvious seems like a long shot.

This is an entirely counterfeit nickel. Buffalo nickels are known for the mushy details and Die Deterioration, but this is mushy to the extreme. 100% counterfeit.

The weight is 5 grams no lines on the rim when I searched online the counterfeit coin weighed 4.4 and you could clearly see the line around the outside rim were they did whatever they did to it ty all for the posts I'll check more into it and see what's going on with it
