In that case, the tripling on the mint mark isn't from adjusting the stamp on the die in between hits, but rather because the die is a DDR. Do I have that right? tropicalbats Pillar of the Community United States 6108 Posts	Posted 11/10/2022 9:49 pm I'm not really a nickel person, but I assume that the mint mark was hand-punched onto the dies this year and that there is no relationship between the RPM and DDR. Just happened that both ended up tripled but from totally different mechanisms. Report this Post to the Staff
