I think theres doubling on the date and In God We Trust? I dont see it on the ear so I guess its not that variety in which the 84 is known for? Any information is appreciated.

Machine Doubling on the obverse, lots of zinc dust on the reverse.

Do you know what to look for? Check the sites for listings to see what areas/how they are doubled dies. Then your eyes will know better what to look for:

When checking this site, not the 'Description" listing for what the DDO is. Only those areas will be affected. All the other devices will probably be normal size. So make sure to look at the box first. Then look at the images. Also look for spread (wider/taller/notching) on the devices. that is why they are doubled dies. If you have a specific question, you can find answers to questions you not thought of yet on CoopHome. That will help. Train your eyes, then you will know what to look for on Variety coins.

IMHO, the only place that might have some thickness is the 84 of the date. But when it shows up here (class 6) it is usually evident in other areas as well.

Maybe a nice clear closeup of the date and "84"?

Here is a side by side to see the differences on Liberty:

But guess what? Even these are not a DDO, just altered devices from a die event. They can fool even seasoned collectors.

Note on your coin on the 'TY'? These devices are showing die polishing from a die clash, thus they are smaller than the other devices on Liberty. So the reduction of size on some devices, makes the other devices look larger. (When they are all just from a normal die. Look for the spread.

Note distortion on the devices on the outside edges of the devices:

Can you see the affected areas now?
On the 1980's zincolns the '8' seems to be affected most often.
