Another 1960D to get your opinion on. When I saw the filled D, I decided to check out the various sites to see if it was a possible RPM after finding one on another one cent submitted last week. Vista
RPM-10 look almost exactly like this one. Note the two end columns
and the top corner of the building.. Also the "crack" above the right column. Sorry for all the photos.
This penny looks brand new and I'm sure it would grade high but I don't know if it would be worth grading.

I see no RPM here. Markers do not make an RPM. The mm location is not even close to RPM-010. I think what you have pointed out is just die abrasions or a gouge.

Well it is a very nice die chip in the date if nothing else.

Don't see an RPM, decent die chip but not uncommon.

I'd keep it, you're right that it's a very clean example of a die chip.

If there was an RPM, Coinfrog and the others would catch it, most likely.

The thing to remember is that markers don't matter, if the DD or RPM is not there. Markers just confirm the DD or RPM. There are millions of 60s that are unc, not worth grading.

Here's why I posted the 1960 D one cent as a possible RPM. Vista site RPM 10 as shown in first phto ..next my coin. I must have been seeing those imaginary creatures. Thanks again for your input and have a nice Thanksgiving.

@jfee, thx for adding the closeup pic. I'm not seeing the split serifs on your piece, although they are clear on the vv example.
