Has anyone had experience or dealings with arniejr1 on ebay. His feedback is 100%, impressive for a power seller, and his email communications have been prompt and detailed, rather than a quick brush-off. But before I make a rather expensive (relative to my budget) purchase, I am hoping that others will share their experiences. Thanks in advance.

Haven't had any dealings with the seller but everythin looks good. Spotless record. Quote: No return on certified coins or layaways. That is the only thing that would bother me as a potential buyer

I agree that all looks good. But 'looking good,' without any first-hand knowledge or experience, is generally cause, in and of itself, for me to further poke and probe. Happily, the coin I am considering is raw and returns are permitted.

I agree with bherring1964, something just doesn't look right about it. Keep in mind, I know little about Bust Dollars. Just a hunch; looks too "contemporary" to me.

I have been slightly wary of him as well. Way too many early date rare coins in the thousands, and uncertified. you'd think that if he could afford to buy all this stuff, he could afford to get them slabbed and make a lot more money. Plus, I think his prices are a little high.

He says that he does bulk submissions, usually to PCGS, after the main coin show season ending in May, and that it doesn't pay to tie up the coins during this busy season for 5 or 6 weeks. Any unsold coins, he said, will be submitted at that time.

His prices look high to me. I can't find a bargain or even a good price in the sub listings I like to search through normally in US coins.

Will the seller let you return the coin if it comes back not-genuine from a TPG? (That sometimes takes longer than their normal time frame for returns) If you do end up buying from him, let us know how it all turns out. And good luck!
