not my coin. its a friend of mine and he is not only interested in grade (i have it at XF40 details) but if there is any way to save the coin from the ravages of the verdigris. can it be stopped? will it continue to eat away at the coin?

@pan, here is a link to one of my all time fav threads on bronze disease. To start, your friend needs to isolate this coin from the rest of the collection.

I would call that corrosion, not verdigris. Tell your friend to forget about any conservation with this coin . EF-40 Details .
