I got an 1889 penny in pretty rough shape, the AM in America is fading away and the date is pretty good still, what should I do, should I clean it?

Cleaning coins will really hurt the value if not done properly. Best to leave it be.

It doesn't matter so much if you clean this coin, because the value is very low.

That one is pretty rough unfortunately, still a lot of history there though. If you are interested in Indian Head cents you can get many dates in nice circulated condition for very little money. They make a nice collection. |
