You can go to 'Tutorials' at the top and look at 'Uploading images.' Do that and you'll be able to figure it out. Look forward to seeing your pics!

Manipulating images to get them under the 300KB limit can be difficult, until you get the hang of it. In general, the key is to fill the image space with the coin--not a lot of unnecessary background (which enlarges file size)--and 'save' the image in a format (such as jpeg) that gets the pic under 300KB. I have a background in digital image processing so I was able to figure things out quickly. I use Adobe Photoshop Elements and can do all the manipulation--cropping, resizing, etc. quickly. As you will discover, the image tools available through this site can be a little clunky, but they do work. Good luck!

This is in reference to a 1944 Wheat penny. I have tried for decades to identify it. Hopefully, your suggestions will help. It is truthfully a unique example.

@sut, first welcome to CCF. Second here is a link to the tutorial on uploading pictures. Please start a new thread once you've got it figured out. Thx.

Download an image resizing app, simple as that.

I have about 27 pages of coin images all under 300k, it's not hard, just download an image resizer. And it's not like my images aren't clear.
