Picked it up in a group of coins I bought last week and paid $25 for it. I consider that a bargain for this die in this condition. 1996 Lincoln Memorial cent doubled die - DDO-002 Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 12/13/2022 09:36 am Note the spread on the '96.' Looks more like the DDO-001: http://www.varietyvista.com/01b%20L...6PDDO001.htm 1996P-1DO0001: https://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln...ie_state=mds 1996 1¢ WDDO-005: http://www.doubleddie.com/446833.html Description: A strong CW spread from a pivot at about 9:00 shows on GOD WE TRUST, the lower front of the bust, the eyelid, the upper front hair details, and the date. tropicalbats Pillar of the Community United States 6196 Posts	Posted 12/13/2022 10:48 am Coop, no. Die 1 is a clockwise spread, completely opposite of this coin with a very clear counterclockwise spread. Just look at the L in LIBERTY to be absolutely clear if you can't see that in the doubling of the date. My attribution is correct, easily verified from the images, and again not helpful adding a ton of links to coins that are not the coin posted. Report this Post to the Staff
