One of the late model RPMs that, for me at least, are very tough to find. Even this one, which looks pretty strong under the scope, was almost invisible with the loupe. Found it in a bag of mixed memorials that seems to have been collected in 1988 as no newer coins and condition goes from top MS in 1988 to crud as you get back into the 1960s.

That one is pretty subtle, but the top serif is definitely split. Nice find @tb!

Nice find, almost looks like a pre-82 planchet except for the split plating under the D.

Very cool variety! It's always nice to run across a modern RPM, the zincolns make them tough to find.

It's not easy to find RPMs from the 1980's era anyways.

Thanks folks! Honestly I think I have more complete year sets of RPMs from the wheat years than I have RPMs from the 1980s in total. Just so hard to find them, at least for me.
