If there is doubling on other areas, it is too subtle for me to see. Cujohn Pillar of the Community United States 7174 Posts	Posted 12/15/2022 5:01 pm 1300. I think you mean 89 pictures. The 89s are extra thickness on the 8 and 9 in the date. If you look at them, it looks like they are smeared to the right. The arrows point to markers on the coin from the die. The most important first thing to find is the doubling on the coin, without that it's not a DD. The markers are just for confirming the DD. But sometimes the markers aren't there. Like scratches, die chips, breaks, and dents that occur later in the dies life. Report this Post to the Staff
