The golden toning is amazing. To me, it is one of the more attractive coins I have run across. What's your take vs PCGS?

nice color. the X right above the date and smudge above that on the field are going to drop this one a notch. pretty good cross hit on the steps as well. too bad as shoulder lapel and chin are pretty clean.

Nice toning, cracked skull. MS65+ for me.

I'm not going to cheat, I know a little something - I'll let the masses slug it out. Hopefully it's a learning experience for all.

Toning and luster on this coin is off the charts. The X above the date seemed to extend under the date making me think it was polishing marks. I am curious if I cracked out and resubmitted. However, my curiosity is too expensive. Might get a 66 next round, but what would that do for me? NOTHING!

Definitely die polishing lines around the date. 65RB seems a little stingy to me, but agree it's not worth a resubmission.

That's a very nice piece also. Very solid for the grade.

My guess is they didn't like the obverse field disturbances. IMO the reverse should have at least made it 65+.
