1982-D-Small-Date-Penny. I was just wondering if this small date 1982 proof was worth anything or not? It's the best one I've found since I've been collecting them.

Pictures need to be clearer, even so, I can tell you it is not a proof. 1982 proof coins were only struck in San Francisco, so would have an S mintmark. I don't see anything that would make it worth more than face value.

What are you seeing to lead you to believe this is a proof strike coin?

Although the photo is not clear it looks to me like a business strike Denver mint coin.

An accurate weight might help determine what we're looking at.

Well hard to tell much with such a small image - but this is not a proof, appears to be a zinc coin, need to see the date better (the whole coin better too.)
