Happy New Year CCF!
So, I started new year going thru Quarters and came across this 2015 P Blue Ridge Parkway Quarter with what looks like extra tail on 2. Any help would be appreciated! Also is there a website that I can compare this to some examples?

@buc, I believe that is Machine Doubling on the date of your quarter. You could compare to others threads on this website using the search box functionality in the upper left corner of your screen.

That is part of the Machine Doubling on incuse devices. 70% of these quarters have Machine Doubling on that area. The DDR's and DDO's on these coins are in the center of the designs. Not on the outer devices on this design. These are the single squeeze dies and they hub doubling is found on certain areas of the design on the raised and incuse devices. Want to know where to look for doubled dies on these designs? Look at the listing to see where to look for these first. Then you will know where to look.

Like a map, look to see where you should be going to spot the doubled dies on this series. Train the eyes first, then you will know where to look and what to look for on these.
