1960-D 1-Cent. Is This A Doubled Die Obverse / DDO -001.

MrJ Valued Member United States 99 Posts	Posted 01/01/2023 8:36 pm It does look like it could maybe be doubling but I don't see it being either date over date variety. I think the business strike large over small date had the D/D far north with it. And the small date over large date was a proof coin only DDO. I could be wrong on those tho, I'll defer to someone a little more seasoned on this variety my experience with 1960 is only rpms not so much the DDO. Report this Post to the Staff

MrJ Valued Member United States 99 Posts	Posted 01/01/2023 8:50 pm The date sort of looks similar to the 1960 fs 102 but that's a P mint proof DDO where this coin is a D mint business strike. Deff an oddity to me and I would investigate it further if it were mine Report this Post to the Staff

Going to bank tomorrow to get a few thousand pennys to look through. I now resign to only post good pics of real varietys and errors here in the forum.
