Does anyone know when/if Dansco is going to update their type set album 7070? I am up for a new challenge.

What do you mean update? add draped / flowing bust coinage? Because if so I would love a 7070 with EVERY us coin type.
I've been collecting for a couple years... Favorite Coin's are Standing Liberty quarters, Working on my type set | Coffee, Corvettes, Coins & the CCF what could be better?

I assume update to add some of the recent modern types, akin to what the Intercept Shield has.

I would guess women's quarters and type-2 ASEs, at the least.

If we are getting picky, the 7070 also lacks places for (examples of) the Lincoln Bicentennial and shield cents; the Westward Journey nickels, the ATB Quarters, and Native American dollars, to name a few...

My understanding is and has always been that the 7070 is a version of the 19th & 20th century US type set, so none of the things mentioned above would need to be included. However, I believe that revisions/updates could/would/should be driven by market demand.

If Dansco marketing department do a pre-order counter page on their website, and sending notification to collectors once production requirement are met.

And not leave collectors and dealers hanging!

That is my understanding as well. I would be surprised if they added additional slots, but you never know I guess.

At this point I am sure most would be happy if Dansco just started making them again even if it had no updates.
