Found with other random pocket change in the condition you see in photos,
I'm not saying it is, and I'm not saying it isn't. And age and condition considered; But above the 13* there appears to be a very faint 14.
I tried to get the best picture I could but the 14 would only show up at certain lighting angles, but yeah, idk, is this type of error a thing?
I can upload the reverse of the coin if it really matters, it's just your run of the mill Wheat penny reverse.

Just a 1913 cent no more no less. Sometimes I see animals in clouds but really I know it is not true.

I agree, with just 13. it is a cleaned coin with several surface scratches playing tricks with your eyes!

You're in good company, it kept us safe from predators at the watering hole in ancient times.

If it were a doubled date, all the other devices would also be affected with the same off set the same. The whole design is added to to the hub since 1908. So unless they used two different hubs when the die was created, this doesn't happen any longer. The affected area would be raised like the normal date, not level with the fields.
IE:
1913-/-14-Double-Date-Wheat-Penny?
1913-/-14-Double-Date-Wheat-Penny?
1913-/-14-Double-Date-Wheat-Penny?
1913-/-14-Double-Date-Wheat-Penny?
The individual devices are no longer added to dies, since 1908. Just Pareidolia:
1913-/-14-Double-Date-Wheat-Penny?

Just a 1913 cent that has been hardly cleaned. If it was an over date it would be more obvious.

Always show both sides of your coin (without fingers please). Yes, sometimes it does matter, sometimes we can spot things you might have overlooked. Thanks.
