From time to time I spend or put coins for people to find in a geocache or random places, even put some on the ground.
I've had a few clad proof dcam sets laying around decided to break them out, once looked over them and realized I had no pr70s or errors I decided to go put them into circulation. My goal was to go to as many different places as possible to spend them.
I had about 70 some dollars worth and the experience was worth more than face value or value the coins would bring me.
I had a lot of different reactions, one person wouldn't take the money cause they thought it was not real money. Some folks started pulling out their wallets to exchange their money for them immediately.
Hopefully I at least made some conversation about coins today, and would recommend trying it out sometime if you haven't yet.

That's awesome! You sound like me! Just as fun - ask your bank for a stack of $2 notes. THEY ARE A RIOT! They are always fun at drive thru windows. Greater than 50% of the workers go ask someone if they're real. They're great for leaving tips too - I've had quite a few servers go crazy over them. LOL
