These were in one of my Mom's old coin boxes. I had forgotten they were there. I love the clinking noise when I took them out of her little bag. WooHoo! How fun to re-discover them. Anybody else have little surprises that they found recently...preferably at your home.

Being a messy guy and having lived at the same home for over 25 years when I clean up I often find surprises. These include two 1 oz platinum eagles, several gold eagles, a 1914-D Lincoln and more. I told you I'm messy!

dsking, after Mom passed I found this 1902-O (in bezel) among her "special things". Unfortunately I'll never know the story behind it.

Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures
