I'm a complete noob, so let that be known. Is it common that you might get a roll of quarters from the mint that far back in years? I'm excited to go through them but want to research all that has been found in the past related to errors so that my novice eye might catch.

While waiting for photos, I'll share my experience that rolled coins (typically rolled by commercial coin service providers like Loomis) from long past years do occasionally turn up. Three years ago I picked up $50 in nickels--all rolled. Three rolls were solid 2005 D Lewis and Clark buffalo (westward journey) nickels. The coins were in tight Loomis wrappers, and the coins were all in the low to mid MS range. The teller told me that a customer had brought in a large number of rolls the day before. Evidently, the customer had them stashed away for many years and finally brought them in. So, it is possible to find solid date/mint rolls of (essentially) uncirculated coins. Doesn't happen often, but once in a while...

Definitely, I went to the bank last week and got $100 in dimes and they all appear to be uncirculated 2022's. I will keep a few of them but I will probably put them in clear plastic rolls. They are interesting because I have been able to sort them by die, with the chips, cracks, etc. (I have found 5 so far).

I took your advice Khromtau and saved a few and found a couple that look like a few letters are die filled.

Thank you for the photo, that is a real U.S.Mint wrapped rool. Sometimes members think it is a mint roll because all the coins inside are new and the same date but was wrapped by an Armour car company and not the mint, just wanted to make sure what you had.
