Is this grease filled? Very mushy/wavy details while the edge is still sharp. The reverse has very sharp details.

Looks like this is a Struck through at capped die issue, preventing the strike on the obverse. The reverse will be normal and not affected. Just a capped die issue. (mint error)

Hope these pictures are better. After researching capped die, I forgot about the coin I had on the right, never know what was going on with it. There is a faint outline of Abe if you hold it just right in the light along with what looks like memorial columns. Thanks for the comments, these coins have always confused me.

Thanks. These were both pulled from bank boxes years ago but never posted or researched what was going on with them. Put in a drawer and forgot about until this week! Are they worth much or more of a novelty error?

Wait/ there was one, and suddenly a second coin? More than one make replies difficult.

The 2000 cent (on the left) appears to be a capped die while the cent on the right looks more like a brockage to me as I think I see a stretched out Memorial on what should be the obverse.

While better photos of each would help, both errors are very sought after and usually highly prized by those who find them.

Nice finds both of them.

On the 2000 it looks like Lincoln has sunshades on?
