I have subscriiptions for both the Presidential dollars set and the 2009 Mint proof set. I haven't been able to reach the mint either by phone or thru the track my order section on their site.

Does anyone know how the mint ships these subscriptions and is it better to buy the sets straight up or keep the subscriptions open.

I have a couple subscriptions. I usually get an email stating they will be shipping in a week or two. Then get an email stating they are shipping and will arrive in a week or so but they arrive the next couple of days.

Yeah.....just be patient......they will email when shipped and you should be able to track it soon too depending on when you ordered.

Also, If it's on "backorder" ya just gotta wait.

I used to order most things by subscription but soon realized I was spending way to much for postage, so now I keep putting things in my basket and order every 3 months or so. Got a little messed up when the Double Eagle came out I couldn't wait, had to order on Jan. 22 My next order will be 3/23 after the silver quarter proofs come out but before
Puerto Rico quarters in case they stop the DC when PR is released.

Also noticed people were receiving items before me even tho mine were on subscription

I have a subscription for a Clad Proof Set and an Uncirculated Set. I like it because I don't have to remember to order them; the downside is that you pay a separate S/H charge for each item.

It's worth the convenience for me but the more different products you order, the bigger an issue it becomes.
