Not a doubled die. Looks like Die Deterioration to me. Full, large and sharp pics of the obverse and reverse may tell us more about the coin. Thanks.

While it looks like it is just starting to show DDD, it is actually a die that was polished and removing the first stage of the DDD:
1989-Lincoln-Memorial-Cent-Doubled-Die?
Note the size of the devices, they are reduced in size. So the die on stage 2 will start to form the Ridge Ring stage. So it is advancing in die age. When the Ridge Ring forms it will look like this:
Stage 1:Field distortion towards the closest rim directions:
1989-Lincoln-Memorial-Cent-Doubled-Die?

Stage 2: Ridge Ring
1989-Lincoln-Memorial-Cent-Doubled-Die?
When that is removed, the next step of die polishing will weaken the devices a lot more.

Stage 3: Extreme Die Polishing:
1989-Lincoln-Memorial-Cent-Doubled-Die?

Stage 4: Will show a distortion on the fields:
1989-Lincoln-Memorial-Cent-Doubled-Die?
1989-Lincoln-Memorial-Cent-Doubled-Die?

All parts of the aging process. Not a plus for these examples. But to help during your searches, know what is going on, trains your eyes, so you can move on to the next coin. Is there a Stage 5? So far it hasn't been revealed yet to me. (This process so far is noted more on cents) But I feel it also affects other dies as well.

CoopHome: DDD? What is that? stages of die aging. not a premium for the coins, just what is going on with these single squeezed dies with the lower profiles.
