I'm sure you've attempted every 'optical' way of trying to determine the date--viewing from different angles under different lighting under magnification. The chemical route may be your last option. Basically the same stuff the po po use to reveal serial numbers on guns/cars where the serial number/VIN number has been filed down. Report this Post to the Staff
