Just
Machine Doubling. When looking at Variety Vista, no
DDO's have been found since 1973 and they were proof coins. So a waste of time looking for
DDO's on the new stuff. On the
DDR's there are
DDR's since 1999, but you need to look these up to see what is the
DDR. Your not looking in the right areas to find the doubled dies on the single squeeze dies. They are in the centers of the design, not on the outer edges of devices. So take a look to see what you should be looking for on these:
http://www.varietyvista.com/07%20Ro...Listings.htmNote each of the years listed and you will see what areas to check to see for the
DDR's. A few listings from Wexler's site:
DDR's on the Newer dies. Note the areas and check for post 1999 forward reverse dimes for this type of doubling. Training your eyes with the knowledge of what the
DDR's look like is always better than a guess.
Machine Doubling is caused by the machine. A doubled die is created by the dies. Thus the term:
Doubled Dies.

So these are the listed examples, but check all 1999 forwards to see if you can find the same doubling of unlisted dies. Knowing what to look for will help you find them easier.
