Hi CC ,

I have a dime that looks like the "5" in the date of 2015, has another "5" behind it like a RPM. I looked around to see if this was a known error, and I got . I am wondering if it is worth the money to send it to ANACS?

My guess.... Die Deterioration, worn out die issue. Looks cool though.

It is DDD. RPM's stopped in 1990 I think.

DDD is now being noticed on the Dimes now. We are grasping what was there and were missing before.

OK that is interesting. I am having a hard time conceptualizing how a worn out die could create a second image. Wouldn't the die just be gone or light like the roofs on 69 pennies or the FG on the same?
