Was going through my 1982s just because, never looked for this one before. This was the first one I looked at, It seems to fit the parameters for the small date, would love to hear what the experienced members think.

8short pics of the other side due to no credits to convert images to small size, sorry.

This is a "Small Date" 1982-D....have you weighed it? Either 2.5 grams or 3.1 grams.
I do see small indications of plating bubbles which could mean it is a zinc clad coin
weighing approx.. 2.5 grams.

It is a Small Date but looks like a zincoin instead of copper.
An accurate weight to two decimal points will tell the story.
