I just have a quick question. I purchased a bag of 2023 Bessie Coleman quarters from the mint. It seems like most ALL the coins has what look like doubling on the obverse. The reverse lettering is crisp. I know this is just one picture but does this look like doubling.

Thanks in advance

That is Die Deterioration Doubling ( DDD),
another form of worthless doubling.

You all get an 'A' today on this one.

Correct answer. Some may have thought it was Machine Doubling, but you guys noticed that the devices were not affected, but the die was DDD towards the fields. If this had been MD, the devices would have been affected. Good call on this one. (Note the conviction of these answers. Great Job today!)

Just noticed the top line "GOD" is showing metal movement from MD, a slight push side ways, on these 'O' device. so is mainly DDD showing mostly , but a slight push on those upper line devices.
