1981 P Roosevelt Dime Slightly Smaller Than Normal

Okay this dime made me look twice... it's much duller for one thing which is probably its age, but when I put it next to another dime it's is not the same size, not.by much though when u hold then together u can wiggle this one around when your trying to line them up! The entire reverse looks bigger the letters appear to be in BOLD print or something. The obverse side other then being misaligned appears correct! The dime on the left is the one we are talking about

Photos of the edge at the top might help also. While this looks like an off center strike, the rim does appear to be of normal thickness at the bottom.

Weight is pretty much normal 2.32 and yes the edge is reeded!

To me the dime on the left looks bigger, not smaller.
It looks like it has been flattened out which would account for the letters being flattened and slightly larger.
There is no way it could have left the mint being a different size. PMD of some sort.
