That is not a Doubled Die, that is what is known as Die Deterioration Doubling
caused by die wear. Another worthless type of doubling.

RockieDog,

Just a heads up,way too many photos. 4 to start with, one full coin pic obverse and one full coin pic reverse along with one or two close ups where and when needed. I am not sure that is called DDD. Lets wait for coop to chime in.

I agree.

To save yourself time...
When you think you have a doubled die, RPM, or OMM, you can see if you can find an EXACT match at verietyvista.com. If it is not there, then you likely have DDD or MD.

DDD is easy to spot, as all the 'doubling' is sliding towards the rim all the way around the coin, true doubling will not do that.

to the CCF and The first thing to remember is that if you think you have a DDO and DDR, you probably have neither. That combination is quite rare. It's usually a combination of light, MD, DDD, plate doubling.

As @john1 said, one full coin pic obverse and one full coin pic reverse could help others identify other artifacts of the coin you might not be aware of

No DDO's or DDR's here. One coin by post please. Different years different strikes and different characteristics.
