What does the 3 rd side look like and what is the weight. I have no doubt this is a fake coin but will let experts take it from here

I agree, the edge will tell the full story. Most likely a " Magician's coin" manufactured to deceive. Another-even better indicator is the fact the dime obverse is dated 1957 while the reverse is a LMC which at its earliest was minted two years later. Fake coin, we can all move on, nothing to see here.

It looks fake to me and like somebody else said is a reverse the words are backwards. Like another person that it's probably one of those magician coins or somebody just messing around with technique of trying to do it

Magicians coin - completely made up. Nothing else really needs to be said.

An accurate weight might prove interesting.

Why? There is ZERO chance this is legit. What kind of planchet do you think this is? One of the rare half silver, half copper ones? What's the weight of those?

On the matter of weight.... I am not asserting the coin is legit. Just curious--me being me. If I had the piece, I'd weigh it just to see what turned up. My scale is right there on the workbench, close at hand.

Judging from some of the conversations across the forum today, it could be a fun Tuesday! Cheers!
