Just need to confirm if I'm right on this. I've looked at the pics n diagrams. But I just struggle on this particular dates large/small for whatever reason.

Yes, it does appear to be a large date cent here. (The loop of the 9 seems to be pointing to the bottom of the 7 and not towards the middle of the 7.)

There is also flat field doubling on the fields of this coin. (right hand side of the devices) These were part of the first strike with Machine Doubling on this coin. Thus the second strike is flattening the marks. Thus why we see flat field doubling on proof coins.
But it is a large date Proof Cent. (common)

Large date

The small date and large date are easily distinguishable without a loupe.
