Looks natural to me. As for the surfaces, tough to accurately judge, primarily obverse (cheek and neck). Tentative MS63 for me, could change with different pics.

This one is a tough call. Some pictures without all the glare, especially the obverse, would help us out greatly.

The bullseye toning looks more like album tone to me. MS-63

I cannot give a technical grade because there is too much glare and light reflection off the coin.

I'm curious why some view this as AT? What diagnostics are you seeing? To me, the transition of colors matches the natural transition of colors through the spectrum. Looks like album toning to me.

IMO this is possible AT or more likely dipped/retoned. Would love to get Slider's input on this one because he knows about color progression, etc.
The photos appear to show the "all over" luster typical of dip jobs, but that may be a photo issue, not a coin issue. I suspect the light source is too direct and too intense, presumably to draw out the colors.
Looks like mid grade Uncirculated, although there's a pretty hard rim hit under the chin. If this ends up being straight grade I'd put it at 63 technical but net it down to 62 for that reason.

Quote: I'm curious why some view this as AT? Experience. I compared it to 5 or 6 of my best natural rainbow peripheral toners. I will reiterate that I think OP's coin was dipped and retoned, and I consider that to be more likely than AT. Our own @Slider23 is far more qualified on this subject than most people I know.

Dipping a silver coin and letting it sit in an album for a few years will produce this type of tone. I still consider that natural as apposed to ATing it with heat or chemicals. Just an opinion.

My first impression was AT, but on further review I'm not sure. Might be legitimate album toning. So I'd say MS-63. Photos that show the luster better might help.
