I do not know what coppercoins is saying when they say 1DO-18. Is this a way of saying MD. Some of my coins are way far more extreme doubling and they are not DDO but MD. I just do not understand.

It is certainly a DDO, even if the spread isn't super wide. There are a number of similar dies across the board with just a thin line(s) somewhere on the date and/or LIBERTY but it takes a pretty nice coin to see them. 1947-S DDO-001 is probably one of the easier ones to see and even that one is hard to spot. The eye looks like more a flow line issue and not a doubled eyelid.
