1970 US Quarter Damage Or Error? - Coin Community Forum

DougDuley4 New Member Canada 1 Posts	Posted 03/30/2023 2:49 pm Hi, I'm new to coin collecting and I was just looking through a coin collection and found this 1970 US Quarter I am curious what the rim in the top left/center and bottom/center right of the coin is that seems to cut through the top and bottom of some of the lettering (ie, Top of "UNITED STATES OF" and bottom of "ER DOLLAR." I looked online and it seems like it might simply be damage, perhaps from a coin counting/rolling machine Any help is appreciated Report this Post to the Staff
