1987-D Lincoln Cent-Misplaced Mint Mark?

hi all,

can someone more knowledgeable than me weigh in on whether or not the mint mark of this coin is located within the acceptable area? I know that the mint marks were all sorts of messed up in the late '80s, leading to the mint allowing for significant variance in terms of mint mark placement. Not sure if this is within the limits.

Your coin is within tolerance. mint marks were hand punched into each working die until 1990 when they were applied to the master die.

Below the numbers and right of the coat is the acceptable
area even if they are on a slight angle.

Being hand punched into the dies, the angle can be different, identifying these dies.
