Hi, new at this forum. I need help indentifying somthing on a 1984 Lincoln Penny. Tryed to do some research but didn't find anything, and to tell you the truth, I am not sure what this is. If someone could please help me, I would greatly appreciate it. On the obverse, after "In God We Trust" looks like C. O.

The zinc is separating from the copper which is not good for the coin, once it starts then it is possible in time most of the coin will become nothing more than dust. Spend it while you can.
