Looks like a lamination to me on bothe the obverse and the reverse somewhat common on the older wheats .2+2 worthy for me because you have it on both sides some people may pay a small premium for this but don't start planning your retirement on this cent I'm talking maybe a few dollars

The coin is struck on what is known as a Woody planchet, which is the striations visible on your coin mainly on the reverse. This is the result of improper alloy mixing.
As already said there are laminations on the obverse and perhaps the reverse.
The laminations are indeed an 'error' but quite common. There is some but not much numismatic premium.

Looks like a very nice lam to me. I'd probably save it in a 2x2.

Aye, nice lamination issue. I'd certainly keep it.

Some collections love laminations, others - not so much.

not so dumb, a 2x2 is a small (2inch square) coin holder with a clear plastic window they you can see the coin through. It a protective item to save your coins in. These are 2x2's: You can buy them almost anywhere coins are sold. (like ebay)

Quote: These are 2x2's Adding for your knowledge - they are normally kept closed by stapling the bent pieces together. Be careful to use pliers to flatten the staples or they can (and will) damage coins in other 2x2 that are stored adjacent to each other. Many of us purchase a special stapler and staple that lies flat in use and thus avoid the need for the pliers to squish the ends.
