Would like to know your opinions on this liberty Standing quarter. Reverse has this light brown smudge too that I don't know what it is. I've never done acetone dips before, would like possibly help the brown smudge?

the light brown smudges are pretty much indicative that something was on the coin and someone attempted to remove it. in additional to that the area you highlighted have scratches from the removal of something and what looks like some very deep marks

XF details (cleaned)

XF+ detail. It looks a little suspicious to me. The date and head are too sharp for this date and color looks off. How does the edge look, and what is the weight?

I'm no grader but there are a few things I'm pretty good at and I have to agree with Panzaldi and Coinfrog, it's cleaned.

I took it out of the book to try and get better pictures and it needed an acetone bath which got rid of most of the brown. I didn't do it long so maybe it will need another. It was either putty to try and fill in those scratches on the right reverse, or 50 yrs ago, someone was eating chocolate when they shoved it in there. Anywho, it's better now. I admit, I'm not good at spotting cleanings that don't have hairlines. So I don't see it obvious in this one. Do you mean to say it's an old dip due to the darkness around the crevices. I was thinking low AU
