Ladies and Gents, I am way out of my league on this post! I've found a 2019 P Shield Cent with some strange marks on the edge of the rim of this coin. After looking at thousands of cents I don't remember seeing anything like it, and I think it might be a Die Clash. Bold of me to make A statement like this but it doesn't look like a impact hit. There are some parallel lines just below the marks, so it might be a coin clash after the minting process but I am unsure. I know the experts on the Coin Community can possibly see what could cause this particular marking which follows the rim of the coin from the bust of Lincoln to the L in Liberty. I have included 4 shots of the area for research so have fun looking and let me know your thoughts and as always regards to all!

Yup, it spells out 'TRUST', incuse, and it is reversed. and it is 180 degrees from the Trust of this coins motto
I think that this is a vise job.

Wow A vise job, who would have guessed! Thanks for pointing the obvious out to me. I would have never spotted it! I will stick it with my bogus cents. Thank you Dearborn and nick10.

Yes, initial look appears to suggest a (tedious) vise job.

Tedious is the word! I can't guess how long that would have taken to do. Also on the rim, wow some people are inventive! I looked for impressions on the reverse but found none.

Or Two Cents hit between to pieces of wood and hit with a hammer. Just incuse damage from another coin. Coin to coin transfers will be mirrored incuse damage to a coin. If it were double struck then you would see the devices on the whole coin with a reduction of the first strike:
