Hello Coiners, Can someone tell me if there is doubling on my 1960P Nickel? Specifically, on all letters and numbers, obverse and reverse. I have not posted in quite some time, so it has taken me the better part of the day to compose this very post, with pictures (retaken and edited numerous times . Please let me know if any photos are unclear. Thank you!

And, I am terribly sorry for not taking a full picture of the front and back of this coin. Apparently, I purchased a microscope that was not for coin fanatics. :/

@mrf, glad to have you back and posting again. I'm not seeing split serifs, so this doubling seems to be Machine Doubling rather than a doubled die.

Definitely not a doubled die, but disagree with Spence's diagnosis of MD. Looks like Die Deterioration Doubling to me.

I'd say DDD and some MD too, but neither is the rare kind of doubling

to photo a whole coin, try moving your scope farther from the coin, such as by puting some books under it

Tomorrow, I will be able to add full pics of both sides of this coin - but I have added another pic of ERTY, the T is what I suspect as doubling, but I do not, and have never, known for sure about doubled dies.

Additional pics are not needed. It isn't a doubled die.

Just extreme die wear. Not a doubled die. When the die was younger, it was normal. Now that the die is aged, it is striking coin like yours hundreds of thousands of times. If it were a doubled die, then all the coins struck with that die would be showing the same hub doubling from coin number one. Just wrinkles on a senior die.
