I'm not a grader (im getting there)but I can say that's nice looking 42 . Whatever coinfrog says I'm in , I agree.

Beautiful looking example and nice photographs as well.

I would go even higher - like MS66 and possible full steps but need a close up of the steps to confirm.

nickelsearcher if you click on the reverse photo it will blow up and you can see the steps

nice photos Zurie. some light chatter on the jaw and lower part of the jacket. I think these may be die related. decent strike.

MS65 not FS. looks like the bottom two steps are not fully developed and t least one nick on them I can see. a blow up would help but I dont think it necessary as the bottom step would eliminate the designation

It's close, but in hand it clearly doesn't make FS.

I too am at MS65 and possibly MS66. It could just be my eyes but, Monticello looks a little worn though.

Very Nice but, most common among the War Nickels. That's a keeper for sure!
