It does look like MMS-006. Like you mentioned, Coppercoins has 1MM-025 listed with this this style mint mark. In the "Value Information" CC gives a MS-65 example of that RPM a $12 value. I would think if this MMS is truly scarce there would be a much higher value placed on a RPM version in MS-65 condition.

When is come to this IMM me I always used this photo table montage I done as reference. From my prospectus this coin do not meet the IMM criteria.

This is 006 no doubt. As Lawest posted it is less common than 004. That said the 1 that is rare is the inverted 006. Silviosi, you are showing 3 inverted mm?

I am not quite sure what the misunderstanding is here. VV clearly notates that MMS-006 is scarce on the 1946. So scarce in fact that Coppercoins list only one RPM for MMS-006.
That is 01-025 and it is clearly "not" inverted. This
negates the assumption that all 1946S with Ball Serif are inverted. Correct?
Silviosi, there is no assumption here of 1946 S w/ Inverted Ball Serif. When I see Red, Blue, or Pink on VV, It raises my eyebrows.
I am not suggesting that this is a valuable coin. That is a minor part of my pursuit. I was only trying to point out that there are obviously less examples of this MMS than the other 2. And! if you recognize the difference, the inverted example makes more sense.

I do not know guys. Look at VV MM-006 is on on face then when you click on the year is other game.

Great job with the coin. I recommend if you can have de-ionized water to boil and soak the coin in. Like this you can inhibit the organic what left left.

You has the coin in hand. What it is W of MM and S of 9? Die chip, strange form and never see before.

Ignore that last reply. Just go to the search box and enter 1946 S Lincoln ball serif MM.
The first reply from coppercoins to the OP should bring this topic to a close.
Thanks Dearborn. Persistence leads to knowledge.
