Just a worn, damaged cent. The 7 may have been weak when it was struck, or it could all be wear.

Not off, but rather well-loved. This coin was in circulation for a long time. Everything I'm seeing could be explained by circulation wear.

I'm thinking mechanical vending machine wear early in the life of the coin, since worn further through a good deal of circulation.
